>>>Everyone read this!<<<

The U.S. Senate is considering attaching an obscure amendment to the Federal Lacey Act onto the Farm Bill, which could have an unintended negative impact on manufacturers, retailers and consumers of musical instruments.

For more info and to send a form message to your senator(s) go to:

This would affect all of us.

Sorry the link did not work. "Hmm, the page you're looking for can't be found."

Your link doesn;t work.

May I suggest you sum up what this is about. Most of us are not happy about having to open up some link and read a bunch of stuff to even find out what you are talking about. We can always go read more if it sounds interesting.

the link is too old, but the introductory paragraph (I think) is this:

"Support legislation that requires the same sales tax for Internet purchases as transactions made in stores
Tell your Member of Congress that merchandise purchased via the Internet should be subject to the same sales tax as merchandise sold in stores."

They (some states and the feds) have been talking about taxing internet transactions for years. If it were possible to get legislation through to allow this, it would be most likely to succeed now as the BHO administration looks for money to pay for all this hope and change. I don't understand why BHO can't just will it into existance. According to Evan Thomas, Barracks Obama is "sort of a god".

'Newsweek editor Evan Thomas brought adulation over President Obama’s Cairo speech to a whole new level on Friday, declaring on MSNBC: “I mean in a way Obama’s standing above the country, above – above the world, he’s sort of God.”'
