| Neodymium and Alnico together?
If I use a standard alnico humbucker bar and small neodymium magnets together in one pickup is the alnico at risk of being demagnetized?

My guess would be yes. I use neodymium to charge and sometimes reverse the polarity of Alnico, although I believe there has to be some movement between the magnets for anything to happen. Maybe someone else could chime in...

The neo definitely will affect the alnico. We have experimented with the neo alnico combo and have come up with some great sounding pickups. Keep an open mind!
