Schematic for Ampeg B2-RE

Hi,

My son is in a band and their bass players Ampeg B2-RE amp has developed a fault where the sound is distorted and the limiter LED is on constantly, apparently.

Before I spend hours trying to reverese engineer the thing I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a schematic for the power amp section of the unit? I checked the Ampeg website and had a Google around but I've not found anything.

Your schematic gave me the chance to convert my B2RE into 230V!!!

My first deception today was read the label where it says 120V

. I was understood when I bought it that this is an auto-switchable voltage amp. I paid the extra cost this morning in customs and when I saw that damn label

...

Then I read your post and just opened carefully, changed the cables position and replace the fuse with a 4A-250V (I have an electronic shop near to my home).

I made the electric tests to be sure and YEAH!!!! IT'S WORKING.

I am having the same issues with my B2R ampeg amp, the limiter light is constantly on and now i have no sound. Any suggestions?
