| Epiphone Blues Custom & Tweed Deluxe
I know this might sound strange... but here it goes... I really like the tone of the Epi BC, and when I got my Ceriatone Tweed Deluxe, I liked it too... but I discovered that when I crank it above 9 or 10, the tone becomes farty... how can I get the same tone as when I crank my Epi BC? The Epi breaks up nicely when maxed out. I am not sure about the cathode bias to fixed mod, as the Epi BC is a cathode bias design but still has the tone I want... I hope somebody gets what I'm saying |

Check the 5E3 pages in the tweed builders part of this forum, lots of info about "defarting".
