| Glues for speaker rebuilds
Just doing a speaker rebuild to correct a mis-alligned voice coil, and was wandering what glues folks out there use for re-assembly. Have in the past always used contact adhesive branded in the UK as "evo stick", but i'm curious as to others take on this matter. |

I recone lots of speakers here in NYC, and the adhesive of choice for me is LocTite 410. It's a black, rubber-impregnated Super Glue that has become a standard in the speaker industry. When you see a ring of black adhesive holding on a dust cap, that's LocTite 410 or an equivalent. In a pinch, Super-Glue Gel will work too.
