Confused about OT selection for PP 6V6 (6G2)

From what I've read on the Fender schems, Princetons used an OT with a primary of 8k, and BF Deluxes used one with a primary of 6.6k.... but they're both PP 6V6GT amps, so why the difference?

I'm in the process of putting together a brownface Princeton and want to use this OT -- http://store.triodestore.com/tf65wscta48o.html due to the multiple secondary taps and the price. Can someone please confirm that this is suitable for a 6G2?

Thanks

It will work. I'd get the paper bobin one.

My understanding of lower load resistance (someone is bound to chime in if I'm wrong) means (all other things being equal - like all the stuff that happens before the OT and after the OT) that the load line on the plate characteristics chart is at a steeper angle, which, depending on your screen voltage, can give a more non-linear signal swing at your output tube plates compared to what the tubes are getting at the grid. This will give more harmonic distortion. Whereas if the load resistance was higher, you get a flatter load line, theoretically giving a harder sound with more bite, due to the relatively even transfer characteristic. (Okay so bite me if I got it wrong)
