Making a quick cheap chassis?
Hi everybody, i want to make a 5E3, i have a turet board from a sound city PA, two transformers, valve bases, wire, fuse holders, pots etc, I want to start with this layout
But puting it only on the two lines of turret i have, don' worry, i know what i'm doing there, i'll do it sound city style, i've worked enough with thoses amps to know what to do.
There's only the chassis which bothers me. I have a salvaged sheet of painted aluminium about 45X35cm, i have metalworking skills, and tools, exept for the punch, but i think the stepped drill gonna do for an al chassis.But i don't want to end up with cheese chassis, so if anybody has a layout for a head style 5E3 chassis with one trany at each end, tubes standing at the back input and controls in front, and fuses/jacks/input in the back, i'd apreciate to have a pic/blueprint etc!
