The legacy of the late Ken Fischer, and the many first and second-hand anecdotes of what a great guy he was, don't need to be corroborated. Nevertheless, the current newsstand issue of Vintage Guitar magazine (SRV cover) has a nice piece on Ken by Dave Hunter, and an interesting interview with Ken from the 1990's after he became ill and had become more of a consulting designer than builder. Excellent reading, and the kind of example of human being that makes one proud of their discipline/field.
