NOS CTS 500k w/ 130k tap pots for sale

Torres Engineering has a bunch of authentic NOS CTS brown/blonde style treble pots in stock for $7.95 USD each.

I just got four. They ranged in ohms from 410k~619k. The extra tap (located at about 7 o'clock on the pot) measured +/–130k on them all.

It's cool having the real-deal American-made pots like these for once.

He's calling them 500k w/ 40% taps.

Don't be in a hurry though …my order took 3 weeks to arrive.

They were real easy to make into 350k/70k tap pots.

It was real important to put the resistor on the tap first, then the resistor to change the overall value of the pot; otherwise the adjusted value got skewed.

I found I needed to tighten up the crimped-on tabs (on the phenolic) a little bit.

One of the four pots I bought was an actual 350k/70k top pot, after all!!
