Hello all, This would be my first amp build and I am looking build a AB763 style head out of this eyelet board designed by Rob Robinette.
I am looking to make this "Blackvibe" into a head that has an effect loop. Ideally it will have a transformer that can switch between 4/8/16 ohms. I figure I'll use Classictone transformers unless someone recommends others, but, I don't think I want to spring for a Mercury Magnetics.

Would this be a good output transformer http://www.classictone.net/40-18006.html or might a beefier one get me bigger and firmer bass?
Where would I integrate/(wire) the effects loop?
Has anyone tried this Metropolis Zero Loss loop in their build? or have other recomendations? https://store.metropoulos.net/produc...ss-fx-loop-kit everybody loves pics ...so here's my dog
