This weekends project was CTS-Mojo 1Meg A10 pots in place of the 10% Alphas. Big difference in the range between clean to dirt. Instead of 2-1/2 clean 3 dirt, it's more like 3 to 5 1/2 clean, then dirt from there up.
In an older thread someone asked about measuring what the different pot tapers actually were. The Weber pots I got with the kit were 30% taper and I knew from posts here they would make it act more like an on-off switch, so I used the 3/8" Alpha amp pots from AES. Those worked, but were still a bit abrupt. At 50% rotation out of the amp they measure 135K-140K, so they're more like a 15% taper. The Mojo's measure 95K-99K at 50% rotation, so they really are 10% pots.
