    5f4 build with or without screen resistors

    I am looking to build a 5f4 super clone and was wondering if anyone had an opinion on whether or not putting in 470 ohm screen grid resistors was a good idea. Thanks

    Screen resistors prolong the life of the power tubes, especially when the amp is overdriven. Always a good idea, I always install them.
    WARNING! Musical Instrument amplifiers contain lethal voltages and can retain them even when unplugged. Refer service to qualified personnel.
    REMEMBER: Everybody knows that smokin' ain't allowed in school !
