Wow! First post to the new site. I'm here too.

I finally got our high speed internet connection installed and I'm back on line here at home now.... so, I can get to the Net and be active again..
As a matter of fact, since we had to start from scratch in this new neighborhood my wife and I went with the cable TV, VOIP and 7MBps high speed internet with a special 90 day trial package.
It's really fast compared to my DSL modem at the shop.
Pretty cool.

Hi Bruce.
The 5e5-A is running very well. I really like this amp and it´s for Pros ans its name says. Plenty of clean and powerfull enough fro playing with a band. It runs a pair of JJ 6L6, I wonder how it would sound with a pair of NOS 6L6 and if it's worth. I have made with a friend the cab with ampwares measurements but I feel the cab too wide (I ´m running a 12" now).I realized how a modern speaker as a V3O (the only avalaible at this time and on hand for testing) sounds very strong but it lacks something ,not for this amp.

The 5e3 is running as a head with a homemade cab loaded with a Vox Blue Alnico speaker . I had some issues with the noise I discovered being the jacks and I cleaned them with a spray. The perfect complement for the 5e5-A, less clean and less power.
