ADA MP1 replacing front jack

I will explain my interpretation of all this info:

• you cannot use a switchcraft jack directly connected to the front panel tip and sleeve on the pcb, because the original jack has an internal spdt switch and you would lose that functionality.
• you can use a switchcraft as part of the rear input mod; apparently the rear jack has no spdt switch.

Also, I have to find out if cliff jacks have the spdt switch, otherwise it doesn't help me.I

I will go through the rear input mod and figure out if I will do that, or repeat what I already did for the other mp1.
