Hi Everyone. longtime viewer of this site. Thought I'd finally join up and try to help out... though I'm in need of help on this one.
I have a fairly new TSL-100. I've upgraded it with a Merc Mag OT and Choke. Also updgraded the bridge rectifier and a few caps (the dreaded 22pf is now rated at 3k volts, take that).
Problem I have is that when switching from dirty to clean (or vice-versa) there is a delay, or a swell to the sound. I've read somewhere that Marshall did this intentionally to avoid any weird issues with reverb spillover. Well, I don't like it. I can really hear the sound drop out.
Has anyone changed/upgraded any of the switching components to reduce, if not eliminate this volume drop.
Thanks for any help.
