Just picked up a used Peavey 6505. Everything is great, except for the effects button on the footswitch.
Whenever I turn it on... there is a brief noise that comes through then stops. Almost like a bad ground sound, but it happens for literally a second or so.
Might be nitpicking... but shouldn't this be silent? Any word on what could be the issue?
