Hi everyone,
I love my GA 5T, however, it is running on the warm side, [as in HOT],sound wise it's great, but after some time[ an hour or so], the sound quality deteriates].
The power trasnsformer is warm to the touch,[ warmer than my other amps], the tubes get very warm[not glowing red!],anything obvious I should be looking for?
I'm going to check all the resistors, particulally the dropping res' .
I've put new electrolyics, new bias cap and resistor on the power tube..
Any help is greatly appreciated,
