Peavey Classic 50 always in normal. When switched to lead normal still controls output. Same issue with footswitch attached and switch in lead.
I'm an electronics tech but not an amp tech.
Checked channel switch at J5, OK. Circuit runs thru footswitch jack. Jumpered J23 1-5 which should remove jack from cuicut. Checked fuses F3-F4 so I should be getting the -27vdc to the coil of K1. Now suspect relay K1 itself which switches audio to lead channel. The trace aroud the K1 coil is on the backside of the board so a lot of work to get to it. Anyone seen this failure or have any suggestions?
