Apparently these amps often have a lot of noise on the clean channel. The one I have in now certainly does (it also blew a fuse but the tubes are all good).
It's not a bad preamp tube. Anyone know where this noise comes from, and how to make it go away? It's white noise and hum mixed, seems excessive to me though I note various users complaining of it on the web.
