I was using my Ampeg AX-70 tube amp to try and get my heil talkbox to work and I think I might have done some serious damage. I was running the line out of the talkbox to the line in (not the regular guitar input jack) and the amp started to hum really loud.
I stopped messing with the talk box, unplugged everything and then powered the amp on again. Super loud humming...crap.
When I plug a guitar in everything works it just is constantly humming.
Any advice?? Also any advice on using the heil talkbox? The driver works (clicks with a 9 volt). I can not seem to figure it out.
