I just got my new Carvin VT 50 set up and was playing around with it tonight. I noticed when I play the E G and B strings in any kind of chord I get this ringing reverb like effect from them. It is a really pronounce bell like sound. It does this with the reverb on and off. If I play a single note on any of these strings it doesn't seem to do it. This occours on both channels of the the amp. I have played with the eq's and cant get it to go away. Any Ideas on what it might be? Im thinking microphonic power tube or maybe a bad reverb tank (broken spring). Im hoping for a bad tube I dont want to have to eat the shipping cost to send it back. I gotta call carvin later and see if they can help but I wanted to get some input from yall first so I have a better idea of what I am talking about.
