I got the 80s vintage Roland Cube 60 Chorus off craigslist and I've been loving it ever since. But recently, the chorus has been completely screwed. Whenever I try to make a sound through it I get a horrible "SHUCK THUCK THUCK THUCK THUCK" noise from the speakers. There is nothing else wrong with the amp that I can see.
The only info I've been able to gather is from this forum:
Appreciat Diagnostic Help for Old Roland Orange Cube-60 Guitar Amp
This is my first vintage amp so any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated!! I love this amp!
edit:
oh,
I've tried plugging in headphones and other amps to the pre out to see if it was the speaker that was the problem, and it resulted in the same horrible sounds.
Using different guitars, pickups, etc.
