It does not have the .047 bias coupling cap but uses a lower voltage tap off the PT. It has a fuse instead of the coupling cap.
Both my V4's use the bias coupling cap fed by full AC from the PT secondary. (as shown in the thumbnail schem. at top of this thread).
I measure a voltage drop in both amps.
When the bias coupling cap shorts there is no longer an AC voltage drop across it. The now higher AC is rectified by the bias diode and the now higher DC pops the bias filter caps.
