  • Re-capping Gemini I question

I am re-capping some of my Ampeg Gemini I and find that the .047's on the 12AX7 in the Tremolo circuit are out of tolerance. It has been very many years since my limited studies in this field and I don't remember just what they do.
My question is, must they be replaced with polarized caps as are there now, or can I use the tubulars that I got from Fliptops? I apologize for the lack of detail, I'm kinda hoping for someone who is familiar with the circuit.

    Thanks!

    P.S.
these caps are from; pin 1 of V7a (plate) before 120k to ground, and from pin2 of V7a (grid) before and after speed pot.

    Thanks again!

The .047's can be replaced by the newer non-polarized caps with no ill effect.
