Marshall VS102. Is it supposed to be this loud?

Silly question probably but I have a Marshall VS102. All ok except it just seems to loud! By that I mean you only have to turn the volume knob up to like one or two, same for the volume knobs on the OD channels, A setting of one is plenty loud enough for playing in a house for example. It does turn all th eway up and doesnt distort or anything. Just wondered if this was a known thing with these? havent had one before. (Or if I have I dont recall it being this loud)
