I've recently wired up an amp very similar to a marshall 2204 layout. I've not wired in the low input though, just directly wired what originally connects through the low jack.
I seem to have what I can only describe as a really sensitive input.. As in if I move the cable connected to the input I can hear it as it moves across the floor, or taps against anything.. It's sort of acting like a microphone of some sort. Hopefully that makes sense.

Am I missing something with the change I've made? Has anyone encountered this before?
EDIT: Just to follow up. I figured this out.. Initially I didn't think it could be the cable because I tried a second one which didn't change anything.. Upon trying a third cable though, the problem went away. So it was the cable. I guess I need to invest in a few new good cables.
