ANyone have a DSP board for the spider 3 from a scrapped unit? The large SMT IC is dead in one that came in the other day.
I've seen heat related problems with these. They run for 10-15 mins and freak out. Freeze spray brings it back. I've been putting a to-220 heatsink on the main chip and haven't had one come back....yet. They run waaayy too hot for my (and apparently the chip's) liking. Who designs such garbage??
