When my reverb is up on my Rivera amp, it gets really scratchy... like when an old record is done playing one side. It's sporadic and not constant. My original reverb tank took a dump (one of the wires on the inside snapped) so I upgraded to the longer 6 spring reverb unit ordered from Rivera.
I tapped on the preamp tubes and they are all fine (and new)
Is this a scratchy pot, or is there something wrong with the reverb? I just cannot put my finger on it. And I doubt this is the first time it's ever happened to anyone.
