I'm working on a Hartke 3500 Mosfet head. It works fine, except for when it's switched to use the graphic EQ, at which point it distorts and the notes quickly decay. I'm without a schematic on this one and sort of lost as to where i should be looking. Thanks in advance for any help!

check signal on ic 205/206 on eq pcb pin 13 for clean signal. if either is distorte replace.
