hey folks
been reading every damn thing about this module problem and it looks like im figuring it out. fuse blew and i checked the tda chips, both appear burnt and i ordered a few from ebay.
tried replacing JUST the fuse, burnt out another. unplugged the pair of cables connected to each tda chip and tried another fuse and VOILA! power is on... FINALLY!! i can even hear my guitar through the headphone jack.
so im hoping that means to say it is TRULY only the chips that are burning my fuse (can anyone confirm?) my worry is the cables. they look fried and worn down due to whatever in the world happened with my amp (some black mark on the tips). where can i buy these cables (black 3 pin and blue 8 pin).
although a bit of the rubber looks burnt, would it effect the conductivity? can i reuse them?
PLEASE HELP!
many thanks
