Issue with Ampeg Gemini II chassis.

This is an silly problem but I can not seem to get the chassis out of this amp, there appears to be a metal plate covering the underside of the top of the cabinet that is warped and blocking the chassis in. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

I use a small 1 1/2" flat putty knife. Try to push it in the front top of the chassis and slide it back and forth while pulling the chassis out.
