  • Carvin AG100D input problem

I have a Carvin AG100D with three channels. When I plug into the acoustic channel 1 the guitar makes no sound but the amp makes a buzz/hum. When I hold the cord end or apply side pressure, the guitar will produce sound through the amp. I think it is a bad ground on the input, what do you think. I removed the amp from the cabinet; the input is a black plastic part that is soldered to a green circuit board. I went to the Carvin site but they do not sell parts for this amp. Does any one know where I might go to get parts?

    Thanks

    Did you try here?

It is very likely that the present jack is fine -- you just need to re-solder it to the circuit board.
