  • Vibrato does not work.

    hello,
i'm building a super reverb clone kit. i have 90% of the amp working except for the vibrato. i can hear a slight ticking sound from the speaker when i increase the speed w/the vibrato"on". V5 voltages:

    ON state OFF state
    1: 265v 446v
    2: 57v -48v
    3: 2.3v 0
    4-5: -2mv -2mv
    6: 173v 230v
    7: 2.9v -48
    8: 2v 0
    9: -2mv -2mv

i hope thats sounds good? intensity pot reads 0-50k ohms, the opto is grounded top left-side (control knobs top). i have a 10m, 100k and 220k res. where they should be.
how high can you safely bias 6l6 tubes too? anywheres from -35ma to -40ma?
    thanks,dan

How about a Vac reading on the heaters.
    (Are the heaters 6Vac?)
    Pin #4/5 to Pin #9.
    I do not understand -2mv.

      yes,
6v ac / all tubes light up, and i can play a G chord loud and clear.
i took the opto/roach out. not getting a resistor reading from it. either side. should i?
