The transformer for my Magicstomp seems to be dead. as this is an AC transformer, there are no diodes to be concerned with. My hope is to be able to revive it. Is this possible?

If it isn`t just a wire break in the cord right where it plugs into the unit then it would be easier to go off to ebay and buy a new generic wallwart. All the plastic cases on the wallwarts I`ve looked at here are glued together and would have to be cut through to get to the transformer. Then what? :^)
Check wallwarts for old modems, cellphones, cordless phone, printers, etc. floating around the house, you may get lucky. -

Very very easy to open. well made case with screws. Strong wiring design. Sadly I must assume an open winding internally. I was hoping someone out there had a cure for this ill.Comment
