  • good place to insert an effect loop

    Hi,

I'm curious if anyone has some advice as to a good place in my signal path to insert a buffered effects loop. I'm using a recently repaired Ace Tone 601 all tube guitar amp. I've enclosed some schematics. I've currently built an effects loop identical to http://blueguitar.org/new/schem/marshall/modnotes/fxloop2b.gif, but am undecided as to the best place to put it in the signal path. I know I want to put it in front of the power tubes but, being relatively novice to this sort of thing, am unsure where to break the circuit at.

    Thanks!!!
