I'm working on a 1956 Bassman for a friend. The handle (a replacement) tore through at the slot all the way through the handle and the amp took what could have been a disastrous header down some steps. Fortunately it landed softly but that doesn't change the fact that those pegged handles aren't made to carry Bassmans. Does anybody know if there is an aftermarket version that looks like the original but is reinforced to support big expensive amps? thanks again, Skip
