  • Crunch/Lead Channel Differences - Bugera 333XL 212

    Hi, again..

I am still working on shaping my tone, but I have a fairly huge difference in the Volumes between the Crunch and Lead channels. The crunch has good tone and breakup but when I switch to the lead channel it has more of a distortion over distortion sound that is not a solid defined tone.
I have placed new JJ EC83S tubes in and have switched them around and I still cant get the one side to be clean and defined.
I am running a new set of the Bugeras 6L6GC Matched Quads in it.

I am wondering if there isn't a bad something on the board that may be causing this issue/s. I have noticed since I owned this amp the Pre -volumes for each channel has gotten further offset having to raise the crunch more to equal the Lead at the same volume levels.

    Thanks for any ideas..
