Hey 52 Bill.....................you were right on those resistors ( I had 68Ks not the correct 6800 ohm )
.................funny that my brother is color blind but I'm not ??? or am I ???
All tone controls work perfect ! Better n new.

Dang! I was thinking the same thing (that it looked orange not red) but I didn't say anything because when Enzo got you to measure it (post #9), you said the meter read 6800 . That'll teach me .

Enzo, Enzo, Enzo, ... uhhh....the dog ate my homework ? Actually can you say "multimeter IDIOT" ? These dadgum multimeters have way too many selections on them for me : Big Ms, little ms, no ms, little ks, big Ks,
Temp, Hz, fused, unfused, EBCE/PNP, EBCE/NPN........I mean........what's any respectable idiot to do ???
That's the trouble with good teachers like Enzo.....they sometimes ask embarrassing questions..............and I thought I was home free.
Oh...the other possibility could have been that I was going by the color code and thought Orange was Red (remember, my brother is color blind)
