Sorry to cut in and ask a new question here, but can anyone help me trouble shoot a power outage problem? My Crate BV60 went out when a friend was using it for vocals and he said it popped and smoked briefly, now it will not even power on at all. Where do I start? Thank you!

No need to "cut in" jc, just start a new thread for your amp.


You probably had a power tube failure, which could easily burn a screen resistor and then pop a fuse.
