  • HRDlx Footswitch switches

Have a Fender footswitch, assume it's for HR Dlx since the left switch is Ch. Select and the right switch is Drive/More Drive.
The Ch Select is the bad switch.
Is it supposed to momentary or latching?

It feels like a momentary, but it's shorted on one leg to center, and open on all others, so I'm not sure if there's a complete breakdown in it or not.
The replacement I ordered from CEDist is a mom. Not sure if it's the right switch.

    Thanks!
    Rick

I think that the switches are both maintained.

      Momentary?

      The other switch is latching.

        Both are latching (maintained) type.

          Click-on/click-off, not momentary.

For testing, move the good switch to the other position on the board. Now does the channel switching work?

No amp here, just the foot switch. Never heard of or seen "maintained" before. Old dog learns new trick I guess.
            Well, latching huh? Dagnabit!
            Thanks again.
