  • Shot in the dark looking for schematic for old JVC Integrated Amp

I've got an old JVC ja s-44 amp on my bench. I've boogered it up.
Changed out all the electrolytics on it (there were lot's). Turned it
on and the dang thing doesn't work I get no sound out of it. Neither
channel. I figured I must have replaced one or more caps incorrectly.

I need a schematic to figure this out, or to signal trace, but can't find
one anywhere on the web. I've even contacted the guys that sell them
    online with no luck.

Just thought I'd try here. I'd be happy just to be pointed to any other
sources that try. I've signed up for an audiokarma account.

    Thanks

Not sure about the quality but try this page: Service Manual JVC JA-S44 - Download - 4shared - Tomasz Dudek
You can save the image of the schem. or the download button should give you the whole manual.

Does the output relay click on after a few seconds?
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

Did it work before you replaced the caps?

I'd start with the PSU and check the DC voltages and make sure the fuse hasn't blown. Could be one or more reversed caps.

There are also boards like this one for audio geeks like AudioKarma with lots of info and schems.

I'll check on that when I get back to it this weekend.
