I'm not sure what's up the big guy, but I've never been stitched there!?!

I'm getting tired of talking about me...

MY wife is actually a problem. When I am hurt or ill, I like to go about my business as normal as possible. I don;t want to dwell on the pain, I want to move it aside and think of other things. The wife though is a fawner. She wants to sit on the couch and every few minutes say something like "Aww, I'm so sorry you are feeling bad." or "does it still hurt a lot.?" Well, geez hon, I was doing fine until you reminded me. STOP REMINDING ME. I find myself repeating "I am not an invalid, it just hurt, it didn't fall off." I do read, I do watch History channel. The Detroit Free Press has two entire pages of crosswords and number puzzles each day for a dollar. I get an hour or so enjoyment from that. But I also can start a puzzle, then feel thick as a brick, and put it aside.

And most glorious of all, even when I feel fine, out in the warehouse, I have a little cot, and on this cot I have an electric blanket. Turn that baby up to 6 for half an hour to get it warn while I do email or something, then climb in and back it off to 2. AAaahhhh.

          Hi Enzo,

I see that you understand about amp repair better than about woman’s psychology.
But the second is much more important.

Women like to be pitied, and themselves love to pity. If you help them, but do not pity them, they take offense. Expression of feelings for them is not less important than action.

Perceive them "as it is". You cannot change their nature. On the contrary, if you understand this, if you take this into account, and will behave accordingly, you will earn a lot of points. Men who do not forgive women their little faults, never enjoy their great virtues.

Show this to your wife and ask, whether I'm right.

I beg your pardon for the explanations.

So why do Fender & Peavey suck so bad? And why do pc board amps have to be soooooooo hard to repair? And don't even get me started about solid state s**t.

It doesn't happen with everyone. I have no "trouble" with codeine products. Some people can get blocked up for days though! Then it's "cinder blocks" fo shizzle. My usual intake of coffee and chili peppers seems to help

It can't get worse than this:

                              Get well soon.

Yep, that was me, took apart everything in sight. How can I add an aux input to my dad's hifi without him finding out?

Thanks for all the kind thoughts. I stayed home wrapped up on the couch since last thrusday. SO here I am today pretending I am going to get some work done. I have the choice of sitting here with a stabbing/burning/stinging feeling, or a dopey semi-consciousness. I got a feeling I won;t get much work done either way.

The wife is passing out little rubber ducks to all the nurses, doctors, and what-not we encounter. Might as well make life a party, even if it is a pain in the ass... or wherever.

The world seems to be surviving without me, so I'll maintain a positive attitude.
