Guys I have got to ask a question..has nothing to do with repairs....I see some people are designated as senior members...others as Old Timers..others junior....I hope this is not related to age because if it is I would be considered pre-historic??
I recommend against using metal brushes because the contacts are usually plated and the metal brushes "could" damage the plating. You don't want to start removing the plating layer just the dirt & corrosion.
Agree with Tom here but thought I would mention, when you do need little metal round files, try welding tip cleaners, they're cheap.
