gibson 25rvt voltages

i'm trying to get my 25 rvt going and in doing voltage checks, the voltages are high immediately out of the rectifier ( 5Y3 ) and so higher everywhere. the scematic sez ~ 335V before the first dropping resistor. i read 450 V . is the tube bad ? i should get another and swap to test ?
