      just an aside, but if the question is "vibration-proof bias pots?" isnt the answer multi turn pots.

        I would totally use something like that, but currently the pots are panel mount. I guess the only benefit to the panel mount is tht you can rebias without opening the back of the amp (there are banana jacks to measure current across 1 ohm resistors), but I really don't care that much about that. I could probably mount a small pcb without too much surgery.

            They are 1/4" shaft 50k linear. I may hit you up if my other options don't pan out.

                rotary encoders shouldn't be vibration sensitive....are there any ceramic capacitors in the signal path that have temperature characteristics of either X7R, Z5U, Y5V, etc
