Well.....I finally scored my dream amp...and Enzo...do NOT roll your eyes at me........
I picked up a late model Ampeg Reverbojet - looks like a mini VT-40 only with vibrato and reverb.
Problem ?
Seems the PO or someone at some time decided it would be a good idea to replace all four pots (maybe he didn't own any contact cleaner...who knows)...anyhow - they also replaced the knobs with chicken head knobs.
I ordered new knobs from fliptops and I'm going to put in the proper d shaft pots...when I can find 'em.
The original pots were plastic D shafts - anyone have a good source for those - or will I have to resort to metal d shafts ?
