low volume on vibrato channel

I have a Fender Showman AB763, and the question I have is that is it normal for the vibe channel to be at a lower volume when settings are the same as the normal channel?

This is a non reverb amp - correct?
If so I would expect the effect channel to be about 6dB down compared to the normal channel. This is because the trem intensity pot presents a 50kOhm load to V2b which has a ~40kOhm source impedance. If it's bugging you, I can report that subbing in a 100kOhm lin pot for the intensity control helps a lot, while keeping the control range usable. Peter.
