I wanna thank you all for posting in this thread. I have recapped the amp and changed screens to 1K/5W, bias is set to around 60% dissipation at idle.
I have played it constant for 4 hours - bass abuse (just classic playing, and sometimes using fuzz) - It's OK.
I didnt notice any change in the sound and "clean power" comparing to previous 270ohm/1W screen resistors. But maybe it's due the caps were changed so it earned some freshness here and there.
I'm thinking that I could put a standby switch, but if this is problematic or will not save me "a lot" of tube life, I'pass then
