    What about de-soldering the board and using a scanner, and just scan each side, and then set them to transparent in the computer? That way I would end up with components+traces.
    Yes, I've scanned several boards and then use a graphics program to clean it up and add in the components.
    I don't usually scan both sides, just the trace side, and then draw in the components.

    Beware of orientation!
    It's easy to get confused if you flip the scanned board picture.

    I use Paint.net for the graphics program.
    It's free and easy to use.

    BTW do you have pics of the whole amp? Front, back, and speaker?
