    Did you buy them from a manufacturer approved distributor / reseller?

    Perhaps consider buying a cheapo component tester that includes ESR, so the old and new caps can be assessed.
    I bought them on eBay with these values
    Jamicon 2200uF 50V, 105 ° C ESR 0.16 and Vloss 0.6%
    Samwha 2200uF 63V, 85 ° C ESR 0.16 and Vloss 0.6%
    Even the original ones from 35 years ago had these values when I measured them.

      If the original caps still measure 2200µ and ESR = 0.16R, I would only change them if there are signs of increased leakage.

      How do you measure Vloss (whatever that means)?

          A word of caution.
          This type of component 'tester' has more value as a component 'identifier'.
          I have had capacitors that would not work in circuit & they 'tested' fine.
